[Crochet] How to Сrochet a Simple Snowflake. DIY Step-by-Step.

The new snowflake crochet tutorial is pretty simple. This will help you quickly make quite a few of these crocheted snowflakes to decorate your Christmas tree and home for the holiday.



You can add this picture with snowflake to the board in Pinterest so as not to lose the interesting idea of crocheting a snowflake.

Materials and tools:

- Yarn (color white), for crocheting snowflakes, I chose acrylic yarn with the following parameters (200 m/50 g
- To make the snowflake shine, I added a thin silver thread to the main thread. 
- Crochet hook (size 2,20 mm).


Abbreviations for crochet in this tutorial:

- Chain - ch
- Slip stitch - sl st
- Double crochet - dc
- Stitch - st
- Chain space - ch sp
- Single crochet - sc


Start making a Crochet Snowflake.


Row 1. Ch 9, join with 1 sl st in first ch to form ring.



Row 2. Make ch 3, into the ring make 2 dc, ch 3, (3 dc, ch 3)*5. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in 3rd ch.



Row 3. Make 1 sl st in each of 2 next top of dc from previous row, 1 sl st in ch sp, in same ch sp make ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc, (in next ch sp make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc)*5. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in 3rd ch.



Row 4. Make ch 1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in each of 2 next bact part of the loop. (In sh sp make 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc, ch 7, 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc. Make 1 sc in each of 6 next back part of the loop)*5. In last ch sp make 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc, ch 7, 1 sc, ch 5, 1 sc and 1 sc in each of 3 next bact part of the loop. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of sc. Secure the thread to finish the work. Hide the tail of the thread on the other wrong side. Use silver thread to make a crocheted snowflake pendant.
