[Crochet] How to Сrochet a Glitter Snowflake. DIY Step-by-Step.

The search for a new idea for a crocheted snowflake has been successful. From 6 of these snowflakes, you can make a set that can be presented for Christmas.



You can add this picture with snowflake to the board in Pinterest so as not to lose the interesting idea of crocheting a snowflake.

Materials and tools:

- Yarn (color white), for crocheting snowflakes, I chose acrylic yarn with the following parameters (200 m/50 g
- To make the snowflake shine, I added a thin silver thread to the main thread. 
- Crochet hook (size 2,20 mm).



Abbreviations for crochet in this tutorial:

- Chain - ch
- Slip stitch - sl st
- Double crochet - dc
- Half double crochet - hdc
- Stitch - st
- Chain space - ch sp
- Single crochet - sc


Start making a Crochet Snowflake.


Row 1. Ch 7, join with 1 sl st in first ch to form ring.



Row 2. Make ch 4, 1 dc, ch 2, (1 hdc, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2)*5, 1 sl st in 2nd ch.



Row 3. Make ch 1, in ch sp make 1 sc, 1 hdc, in the top of dc make 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, in next ch sp make 1 hdc, 1 sc, (in next ch sp make 1 sc, 1 hdc, in the top of dc make 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, in next ch sp make 1 hdc, 1 sc)*5, 1 sl st in the top of sc.



Row 4. Make 1 sl st in the top of hdc, 1 sl st in the top of dc, 1 sl st in ch sp, make ch 1, (in ch sp make 1 sc, ch 6, 1 sc, ch 6)*5, 1 sl st in the top of sc.



Row 5. (In ch sp make 1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc, ch 4, 1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc, in next ch sp make 1 sc*3, ch 3, 1 sc*3)*6, 1 sl st in the top of sc. Secure the thread to finish the work. Hide the tail of the thread on the other wrong side. Use silver thread to make a crocheted snowflake pendant.
