[C2C Сrochet] How to Decrease in C2C Crochet.

After the desired width is reached, turn, and start making a decrease.




Stitch Abbreviations:

- Chain - ch
- Double crochet - dc
- Slip stitch - sl st

Let’s Start


Make sl st in each of the first 3 dc. In the first 3 chain space make 1 sl st, ch 3.



Make 3 dc in the same 3 chain space, continue to make dc blocks as usual.

When decreasing on both sides at the end of the row, do not crochet the last block.



Make 1 sl st in 3 chain space, turn, sl st in each of the first 3 dc. In the first 3 chain space make 1 sl st, ch 3.



Make 3 dc in the same 3 chain space, continue to make dc blocks as usual. At the end of the row, do not crochet the last block. In each new row, the number of blocks decreases by 1 block.

In the last row is 1 block. Make ch 3, 3 dc in 3 chain space, 1 sl st in 3 chain space, turn, sl st in each of the first 3 dc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
