[Crochet] How to Crochet Cherry Hearts Applique.

These sweet cherries are in the shape of hearts. This is a perfect summer project for those who love Cherries! The application is easy and fast to work.

Materials and tools that you needed for making application:

- Thin weight yarn of your choice (pink, beige, green).
- Size 1,25 mm Crochet Hook.
- Scissors.

Use a smaller hook for a smaller application.

Basic Stitch Abbreviations:

Chain - ch.
Slip stitch - sl st.
Single crochet - sc.
Half double crochet - hdc.
Double crochet - dc.
Chain space - ch sp.


Pattern instructions:

1 step. Make 23 ch.

2 step. Skip the first ch, in next loops make sequence - 1 sc*2, 1 hdc*2, 1 dc*3, 1 hdc*2, 1 sl st*2, 1 hdc*2, 1 dc*3, 1 hdc*2, 1 sc*2. Make 3 sc in last loop.

3 step. Make in next loops sequence - 1 sc*2, 1 hdc*2, 1 dc*3, 1 hdc*2, 1 sl st*2, 1 hdc*2, 1 dc*3, 1 hdc*2, 1 sc*2. Make 3 sc in last loop. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of sc. Finish.

4 step.  Fix beige thread in the middle of the part with the leaves. Make 12 ch*2. Finish.

5 step. Make 2 hearts. Make 4 ch. Skip 3 ch, in 4th loop make sequence - 1 dc*3, 1 hdc*3, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 hdc*3, 1 dc*3, 3 ch, 1 sl st.

6 step. Using tails on the ends of the stems, sew cherries to the stems. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
