[Crochet] How To Crochet Doily Hearts or Coaster To The Coffee Cup

Hi, friends.
In this tutorial I want to show how to crochet a doily with hearts or coaster to the coffee cup.

Materials and tools that you needed for making a crochet doily:

- Thin weight yarn of your choice (white, yellow, green, pink).
- Size 1,25 mm Crochet Hook.
- Scissors.

Use a smaller hook for a smaller doily.

Basic Stitch Abbreviations:

Chain - ch.
Slip stitch - sl st.
Single crochet - sc.
Double crochet - dc.
Treble crochet - tr.
Chain space - ch sp.
Double crochet two stitches together - dc2tog.

Pattern instructions:


1 step. Take yellow yarn and make ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from the hook. Change color of yarn (white) and make 1 sl st in the top of first sc.

2 step. Make 3 ch, 1 dc in same loop, 3 ch, (dc2tog, 3ch)*7 times yet. Make 1 sl st in 3rd ch. Finish.

3 step. Change color of yarn (green). Make 1 sl st in 3 ch sp, 4 ch, 2 tr together. Make 2 ch, 3 tr together, 3 ch. In each 3 ch sp make 3 tr together, 2 ch, 3 tr together, 3 ch. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in 4th ch. Finish.

4 step. Change color of yarn (dark pink). Make 1 sl st in 2 ch sp, 3 ch, 4 dc in same 2 ch sp, 2 ch, 1 sc in 3 ch sp, 2 ch, (5 dc in 2 ch sp, 2 ch, 1 sc in 3 ch sp, 2 ch) - repeat around. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

5 step. Make 3 ch, 1 dc in same loop, 1 dc*3, 2 dc in last loop, 2 ch. Make (2 dc in first loop, 1 dc*3, 2 dc in last loop, 2 ch) - repeat it around.

6 step. Make 3 ch, 1 dc in same loop, 1 dc*5, 2 dc in last loop, 2 ch, (2 dc in first loop, 1 dc*5, 2 dc in last loop, 2 ch) - repeat around. Make 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

7 step. Make 4 sl st, 1 sl st in 5th loop, 1 ch, 1 sc in same loop, skip 1 loop, 7 dc in next loop, (1 sc in 2 ch sp, skip 2 loops, in next loop make 7 dc, skip 1 loop, make 1 sc in next loop, skip 1 loop, in next loop make 7 dc) - repeat it 6 times yet. At the end make 1 sc in 2 ch sp, skip 2 loops, make 7 dc in next loop, 1 sl st in the top of sc. Finish.

The Crocheted Doily Hearts is now ready!
