[Crochet] Free Crochet Flower Application Pattern.馃挅

Simple flowers can be fun crochet projects at any time of year. For example, it would look great sewn on a crochet beanie for little child.

Today I’m sharing this free tutorial and pattern with you.

Materials and tools that you needed for making flower application:

- Thin weight yarn of your choice (green, yellow, pink).
- Size 1,25 mm Crochet Hook.
- Scissors.

Use a smaller hook for a smaller application.




Basic Stitch Abbreviations:

Chain - ch.
Slip stitch - sl st.
Single crochet - sc.
Half double crochet - hdc.
Double crochet - dc.

Pattern instructions:

Step 1. Take yellow yarn and make ch 2. Make 10 sc in second ch from the hook. At he end make 1 sl st in the top of the first sc. Finish.





Step 2. Take pink yarn. Insert the hook in any top of sc, make 1 sl st, ch 1, *1 sc in same loom (first top of sc), ch3, 2 dc in same loop, in next top of sc make 2 dc, ch 3, 1 sc in same loop (second top of sc)*, repet cluster ** around. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the first sc. Finish.




Step 3. Insert hook between two sc. Take green yarn and make 1 sl st.





Step 4. Make ch 12.




Step 5. Skip first ch from the hook and make 1 sl st in next ch.



Step 6. Make 8 ch.



Step 7. Skip first ch from the hook. In next loops make sequence - 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st. Make 1 sc in each of next loops. Finish.



The crocheted simple flower is now ready. Now you may sew flower application to a crochet baby hat or other garment of your choice. Enjoy!
