Materials and tools:

- Double crochet - dc

- Single crochet - sc
- Puff stitch - puff st

Puff stitch.

Wrap the yarn around the hook and draw throuugh the stitch leaving three loops on the hook.

Repeat this step twice more, inserting the hook into the same stitch each time. Wrap the yarn around the hook once more and draw through the stitch that remains on the hook, thus securing all the loops in place.

Repeat this step 3 or 4 more times, each time inserting the hook into the same loop. Repeat 3 times to pull 3 stitches. By repeating 4 times, you will pull out 4 loops. In the tutorial of crocheting the snowflake at the beginning of the row, you need to make a puff stitch, pull out 3 loops, having done before that after ch 3, and then you need to make each puff stitch, pull out 4 loops.

Start making a Crochet Snowflake.

Row 1. Ch 6, join with 1 sl st in first ch to form ring.

Row 2. Ch 3, into the ring make puff st (pull out a loop 3 times),  ch 3, *make puff st (pull out a loop 4 times), ch 3*. Repeat it ** 4 times yet. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in 3rd ch.

Row 3. Make 1 sl st in ch sp, ch 3, puff st (pull out a loop 3 times), ch 3, puff st (pull out a loop 4 times), ch 6. In each  next 3 ch sp make puff st (pull out a loop 4 times), ch 3, puff st (pull out 4 times), ch 6. At the end of the row make ch 3 instead of ch 5 and 1 dc in 3rd ch. This will keep the hook in the middle of the ch sp.

Row 4. Ch 1, *1 sc in 5 ch sp, in 2 ch sp make 4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc*. Repeat it ** 5 times yet. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of sc.

Row 5.  Make *1 sc in the top of sc, 1 sc in in each of next 4 tops of dc, in 3 ch sp make (1 sc, ch 6, 1 sl st in the top of sc) - make it 4 times, 1 sc in each of next 4 tops of dc*. Repeat it ** 5 times yet. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of sc. Finished off.

Submit a snowflake pendant if you want to hang it on your Christmas tree.
