Here's a cute tutorial to create colorful hair band. Select yarn colors to match your favorite outfits, add beads or not.
Materials and tools that you needed for making application:
- Thin weight yarn of your choice (beige, light pink, pink).
- Size 1,25 mm Crochet Hook.
- Scissors.
- Hairband.
- Needle.
- Button (cat).
Use a smaller hook for a smaller hair band.
Basic Stitch Abbreviations:
Chain - ch.
Slip stitch - sl st.
Single crochet - sc.
Double crochet - dc.
Double treble crochet - dtr.
Triple treble crochet - trtr.
Chain space - ch sp.
Pattern instructions:
1 step. (Beige yarn). Make 5 ch and 1 sl st in the first ch.
2 step. Make 6 ch, (1dc, 3 ch) - repeat it 4 times, 1 sl st in 3rd ch.
3 step. Make 1 sl st in 3 ch sp, 1 ch, 1 sc, 2 ch, 7 tr, 2 ch, 1 sc. It is 1 petal. In each 3 ch sp make 1 sc, 2 ch, 8 tr, 2 ch, 1 sc. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of sc.
4 step. On the reverse side crochet basis under the new tier of petals. Each basis consist of 5 ch. Insert hook above the dc, make 1 sl st, 5 ch, (1 sl st in next dc, 5 ch) - repeat it 4 times). Make 1 sl st in the first dc.
6 step. On the reverse side crochet basis under the new tier of petals. Each basis consist of 6 ch.
7 step. (Beige yarn). Make 1 sl st in the first 6 ch sp, 1 ch, (1 sc, 4 ch, 1 dtr, 10 trtr, 1 dtr, 4 ch, 1 sc) - repeat it in each 6 ch sp. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the top of the first sc.
8 step. On the reverse side crochet basis under the new tier of petals. Each basis consist of 6 ch.

12 step. (Dark pink). Make 2 ch, 6 sc in second ch from the hook, 1 sl st in the first top of sc.
13 step. Make 1 ch, 2 sc in each top of sc, 1 sl st in the first top of sc.
14 step. Make 1 ch, (2 sc, 1 sc) - repeat around. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the first top of sc. Make 1 ch, (1 sc*2, 2 sc) - repeat around. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the first top of sc. Make 1 ch, 2 sc, 1 sc*3, 3 ch, skip 2 tops of sc. Insert hair band under round part, 1 sc*2, 2 sc, 1 sc*3, 2 sc,1 sc*2, 3 ch, 1 sc*3, 2 sc, 1 sc*3, 1 sl st in the first top of sc.
15 step. Make 1 ch, (2 sc, 1 sc*4) - repeat around. At the end of the row make 1 sl st in the first top of sc.
16 step. Leave long thread tail for sewing shapes together.
17 step. Sew shape with hair band with flower shape.
